… Unauthorized clearing of lots in Palmetto Bluff is prohibited, including thinning and pruning of trees and removal of other understory vegetation. Any work of this nature must be approved by the Design Review Board and is to be done in accordance with the River Protection Overlay District Guidelines and standard arboricultural practices. Additionally, the River Protection Overlay District Guidelines prohibit clearing equipment to be used – view corridors are to be the result of hand clearing only.

… The East Gate to May River Forest (just past the Golf Club) is closed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The West Gate will remain open during daylight hours. As always, a transponder will open both gates.

… Please remember that Moreland Landing is an events and programming venue only, and anyone visiting the site must be accompanied by a staff member. Heavy construction activity and traffic in Phase II make the route to Moreland too dangerous for unescorted access.
