Caution: Alligator nesting season has
begun. Female alligators will build nests and lay eggs
on lagoon banks through July, then hatchlings will emerge

an alligator's habitat and don't allow dogs or small
children in or near the edges of freshwater lakes. When
fishing, don’t keep fish on the bank next to you
or on a stringer, and when cleaning a fish, please discard
the remains in a trash receptacle, not back into the
lake. For more information, contact the Palmetto Bluff
Conservancy at 843.706.6032. If there is any immediate
