First Friday: Archaeology Dig and Feed
Our Palmetto Bluff archaeologist, Dr. Mary Socci, will spend the day with us on an expedition to learn about the previous residents of this land and have the opportunity to be an archaeologist for a day. Dr. Socci will discuss archaeological techniques and some of the team’s findings from Palmetto Bluff’s property-wide surveys. The discussion will continue over a sack lunch, which is included in the $50 fee for this event.

Campfire Cooking

Cooking around a campfire is a memory that conjures up images of family, fun and relaxation. Oldfield Naturalist Marvin Bouknight will join us to celebrate these things as we dine on tasty servings that please the stomach and are easy to repeat on future outings. Cost is $35 per person.

Jason Collins Concert
South Carolina native Jasom Collins has carved a reputation on the national opera scene for his robust voice and commanding stage presence. San Diego arts writer Kenneth Herman predicted that Collins “will soon be writing his ticket at any opera house in the civilized world.” Tickets are $50 a piece for the concert and $75 for the concert and an artist salon reception in the Wine Cellar.
