In only three years of operation, the Inn at Palmetto Bluff has distinguished itself as one of the finest resorts in the U.S., including the honor of being named the country’s No. 2 Best Resort by readers of Condé Nast Traveler magazine in their 2006 Reader’s Choice Awards. Our primary goal is to provide our guests with attentive personal service, luxurious lodging accommodations, distinctive cuisine and activities that take advantage of the South Carolina Lowcountry’s unique attributes. To all Palmetto Bluff Club members – that is, you, our property owners – the presence of such an extraordinary resort means a similar lineup of wonderful opportunities.
While serving our guests, we also welcome all Club members to enjoy the Inn’s amenities and activities. This includes, subject to anticipated availability, a significantly reduced rate on Cottage Rooms, use of meeting and wedding facilities, access to all dining venues, participation in recreation events and activities, use of all swimming pools and fitness facilities (at both the River House and the new Canoe Club), use of the Wilson Lawn & Racquet Club, and use of bicycles, kayaks and fishing rods. Complimentary boat trips include excursions on the Grace, Miss Louisa and Marion, our water taxi to Harbour Town.
Of course, many of the benefits outlined above are also available to guests of the Inn, which provides for temporary club membership status as part of their resort stay. By attracting guests from all over the world, the Inn serves as a means of introducing prospective purchasers to Palmetto Bluff for both developer and resale properties. Ultimately, many guests may become your neighbors – and perhaps even friends for life as well.
Helping you take advantage of your Palmetto Bluff Club benefits is Nick Dennis, Director of Membership. Nick is your main point of contact as a PB Club member, but I also want you to know that I have an open-door policy and welcome you to visit me anytime to discuss Inn services and recreation operations. This open-door policy extends to the rest of our management staff as well. We welcome the opportunity to meet all of you – and we hope you will take advantage of everything that makes the Inn a special place to our many guests.
