Doug Hancock
Hello to everyone from Wilson Landing, the hub of marine activities at Palmetto Bluff. Located just north of the Wilson Village Center, Wilson Landing is comprised of a dry storage facility with 80 racks accommodating boats up to 36 feet in length, a dock with six platform lifts over the water, a Ships Store, and the Boat Club rental program.
For boat owners who want a safe haven for their vessel and quick access to the pristine Lowcountry waterways, Wilson Landing is the ideal site. Located on the May River, with Skull Creek, the Cooper River, Calibogue Sound and the Atlantic Ocean all close at hand, Palmetto Bluff is an outstanding central location from which to base your boating activities.
Are you interested in exploring Lowcountry waters but not sure you are ready to become a boat owner? The Palmetto Bluff Boat Club is a great way to get your feet wet, so to speak. For an annual fee of $5,000, the Boat Club offers property owners unlimited use of a variety of watercraft.
A quick phone call to Wilson Landing gets your boat – or one of ours
– fueled, provisioned and launched into the May River. The Wilson
Landing staff is located in the office just outside the dry storage area.
I hope you will stop by soon – we are eager to help you get started
on the adventure of boating at Palmetto Bluff.
